Borehole Pumps Installation & Maintenance
Borehole Pump Maintenance in devon and the South West
Boreholes are drilled, typically between 20m and 90m in depth to connect to 1 or more underground water courses.
When a new borehole is drilled, the first step is to install a borehole pump. This is connected to both a power supply, and a water pipe, and lowered (with a safety pull rope attached) close to the bottom of your borehole.
When installing, we can provide a manhole chamber and cover if required, and we will measure the capacity of the borehole, or 'yield' – how much water it can produce for you.
If this is a new site, we then return shortly after installation to collect a water sample from your borehole to the lab to determine what is needed to treat the water.
Our borehole pumps are a highly durable product imported by us from an EU manufacturer, after experience with various pump suppliers, we are very confident in the durability of our product. The choice of pump is very important to the future reliability of your water supply.
